Welcome to Our New Homepage
The Delta Zeta chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity is proud to launch its brand new website, designed and created by one of our own members, Thomas Guttermann.
Annual Fireworks on the Lake
Once again we are heading out the the Mackevicius home out at the North Shores community to grill out, go boating and tubing, and eventually watch the fireworks display that the community puts on every July 3rd. We want to thank Mr. & Mrs. Mackevicius for always being so gracious and letting us come and take over their home one day a year for the past several years.
If you are interested in coming out, having a good time, and meeting new people, Contact Us for more information on this event.
Running for Charity
Members of Theta Chi Fraternity at the University of Nebraska at Omaha went the distance for the Siena/Francis House this past weekend, as they participated in the
annual Siena/Francis Run-Walk. The event was held at Lake Zorinsky in Omaha, NE, at 8am on June 27. It was a nice, cool morning, perfect for a good, long jog.
Especially since it was all for a good cause. It consisted of a 10k run, 5k run, and 5k walk.
Tom Guttermann and Nick Olson participated in the 5k run. Their times weren't record breaking, but they made it to the end in stride, and well ahead of the back of the pack. Theta Chi is proud of their Brothers for doing their part to help support local charity.
The Siena/Francis House is the largest Nebraska shelter to serve homeless men, women, and children for over 30 years now. They also offer job training and other services to help struggling people get back on their feet.
You can go to SienaFrancis.org for more information on their organization.
